Percy Main is running Girls Dynamos in 2026 - an ECB Dynamos Cricket programme designed specifically for girls aged 8 to 11. It's a fun, active introduction to cricket with a focus on games and friendships, not drills.

When

Monday afternoons, 4.30pm - 5.30pm at the club.

What to expect

Each session is built around playing cricket, with a short warm-up, a quick skills block, and plenty of game time using soft balls and light bats. Every child gets to bat, bowl and field in every session - no waiting on the sidelines. All abilities are welcome, including players who've never picked up a bat before, and the programme is designed to be inclusive and supportive of different learning needs.

Girls who enjoy Dynamos have a natural pathway into our senior women's team when they reach 13, and into the wider junior section alongside.

Activators

Our Dynamos sessions are led by a pair of ECB-trained Activators from the club, assisted by enthusiastic volunteers from our women's team.
